Agreement
By creating an account or using Wakeline, you agree to these terms. If you're using Wakeline on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on its behalf.
Your account
You're responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials safe, and for what your team members do under it. Tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
Don't use Wakeline to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, ship malware, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. Don't use it to collect sensitive data you're not authorized to collect.
Plans & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Plans are metered on monthly active users — the unique users the SDK sees in your app each month. If you grow past your plan's volume we'll prompt an upgrade; we won't cut guides off mid-session or bill you for overage without warning.
You can change or cancel your plan anytime from the billing portal, and paid plans can be trialed before committing.
Your content & data
You keep ownership of the guides you build and the data you send to Wakeline. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process it so we can provide the service.
For data about your end users collected through the SDK — identifiers, traits, events, survey answers, and session replays where you enable them — you are the data controller and we are your processor. You're responsible for having a lawful basis for what you collect and for providing any notices your end users are owed; our Privacy Policy describes the tooling that supports this (masking, retention windows, and per-user erasure), and a Data Processing Agreement is available on the Enterprise plan.
Intellectual property
Wakeline and its software, design, and trademarks remain ours. These terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond using the service.
AI & beta features
Some features use AI to generate content — drafted guides, suggested copy, automatic translations. AI output is a starting point you're expected to review before publishing; you're responsible for what you ship to your users. Features labelled beta or coming soon may change or be withdrawn.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it reliable but don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Wakeline isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Wakeline anytime. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we'll make your data available for export for a reasonable period.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll post the new version here and update the date below. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
